Why not get the answers to questions you've been asking for years?

Why do I not understand myself? How can I get and keep peace in my life? Why is my blessing taking so long? Why do I always feel alone in times of trouble when God promised to never leave me?

These are the thoughts that are often asked silently for fear that we won't get the right answer or for fear of how a person might look at us for "questioning God". These are questions that we need to ask and that we need to know that someone else understands.

Why can't I know my entire purpose at once? I feel like I'm going in slow motion.

"If you knew that you were going to have to save an entire nation, would you stay still for it? Most times we shouldn't know our entire purpose because we would probably put our hands in it and mess it all up...There are those that will undergo great trial before the vision comes to pass. If you saw all the trials to come that are meant for fortification, would you try to avoid them?"

Why do I feel so alone in times of trouble when God promised to never leave me?

"In the movie Ray, singer Ray Charles Robinson began going blind at a young age. No, he wasn't born that way. During the process of going blind his mother proceeded to teach him how to use his other senses to get around...there were times when she was right in the room when he was in need of a helping hand...she didn't run to his rescue though she was there...she wanted him to know that he possessed all he needed to find his way... Our Creator loves us and always has. Christ came to show us all that we possess as creations/ children of the Most High... Do you know what you possess?"

How do I get and keep peace in my life?

"Peace is something that we all crave but not very many understand how to obtain it. The truth is that we need peace in order to make it throughout our days. Life can be so very stressful and chaotic- if we allow it to be...I once realized that I allowed my peace to be taken from me at a time when it should have increased...One thing to do is cast your worries... smile big... speak the opposite of the negative in your life."
